The MAC Apnea9 Carbon (APN09.CF) is a lightweight, compact dagger-style diving knife designed as a reliable backup for freediving, spearfishing, and scuba diving. Weighing just 85 g, it measures 18 cm in total, with a 7 cm MA5 (W 1.4060) nitrogen stainless steel blade that is 4 mm thick and hardened to 56–58 HRC. The blade features a high-visibility red PTFE coating for excellent corrosion resistance and easy identification underwater. Its double-edged design includes both a plain edge and a serrated section, delivering efficient cutting performance on rope, line, and webbing in emergencies. The carbon-fibre handle offers a secure grip and incorporates a shackle opener, line/cord cutter, and lanyard hole in a compact form. The knife comes with a low-profile APNEA9/F black polypropylene sheath (14 g) and a pair of rubber arm/leg straps with plastic buckles for versatile mounting to your arm, calf, or belt. With a net weight of only 85 g, the Apnea9 Carbon is the ideal choice when you need a light, unobtrusive knife that doesn’t compromise on performance.
